“And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.”
Genesis 47:7 · KJV
Jacob was 130 years old. He had buried a wife, mourned a son for decades, and survived famine. He had every reason to arrive in Egypt as a broken man with nothing left. Instead, he blessed Pharaoh. Purpose does not expire with age or suffering. There is always something to give — a blessing, a word, a presence — to the people in front of you.
Read it slowly. Then read it again. Notice which word or phrase stays with you.
